**BABY BAILEY**Where do we start? It’s been unlucky for Bailey and absolutely no fault of her own. Things just haven’t worked out as we had all hoped. She moved in with Coco and his fab family, but poor Coco stopped eating he was so unhappy sharing his home with another dog. Coco had to be priority.So…..we have our beautiful girl looking for her forever home once again at 6 months old.Our behaviourist Caroline is spending time with her at the kennels, as you can see she walks beautiful on the lead and is such a happy friendly girl. There was suspicion she was partially deaf and blind, but it really is hard to tell as she is just so perfect. As this is the second time the resident dogs haven’t settled with her, we won’t risk her returning to us again – so we would really love her to be the only dog in the home and preferably no children under 12. Bailey doesn’t mind kennels, fine in the car, great out walking……she really is a special girl who deserves her forever home so much. You can visit Bailey in the Stoke on Trent area with arrangement.

**BIG BEAR**Our gorgeous handsome Big Bear is waiting to meet you. Only a youngster ready to learn everything you want to teach him! Big Bear was a Poundie and is supported by his lovely friend Julia, who made sure he came to us safely in the hope we could find his forever home.Big Bear has had a lot of time spent working with him and is ready for his master to take him home but you would have to meet him first .We rehome anywhere in the UK, a homecheck will be required prior to meet with proof of ID.

BelleBeautiful 13 year old Belle has arrived with us today, no longer wanted and finding herself dumped in the pound, we couldn’t say no.She has an infection on her back end, the matted fur has been clipped off by the Vet and the infection is being treated. She is in emergency boarding until after the bank holiday and will then head off to Ellie’s unless a suitable foster is available of course.Good with people, not known full situation with dogs until assessed. If you could assist us in any way with £1 to help with her care, that would be amazing.

**CHARLIE**Monks Bunks Charlie is ready to find his forever home. Could he be the boy for you?Charlie needs an active home with slow build up to being left alone. No small children, as he gets very excited quickly and can be over aroused. He would do well going for long walks but not off lead, because of his breed he could well do a runner! Charlie doesn’t react to dogs with Ellie at the kennels at all, but it is not recommended that he is let off with other dogs or live with other dogs because the breed is solitary and aloof in nature. We need to find out more about him in a home environment, so we are happy with foster to adopt.Could you give Charlie a chance?Team Poundie covers all costs whilst in foster and supports you 100% Can you help Charlie find his forever home?

***CHARLIE 2 (AKA FH)***Charlie 2 is an XL BULLY he came to us from the pound with no chip, so we have no history at all.He is a lovely Boy not sure of kids or dogs, he certainly doesn’t fly at his bars or pull to with either but he is a big boy so everything would have to be taken very slowly. XL BULLY’S don’t seem to manage stress well, so we would like to find an Adult only, quiet home who are strong enough to handle a dog of this size and strength. To date he is very, very people friendly with no prey drive and walks well on the lead.He will sure make someone a best buddy!

You will need to meet Charlie at our kennels in Goxhill.
Beautiful Emily is continuing her journey of healing her body and mind. She’s coming along so well, and is enjoying her 1 on 1 time with the kennel staff. She is getting better meeting new men too, as she was very reactive to men to begin with. Her journey to being a well rounded girl is taking shape, and we hope in the coming weeks we will be looking to place her into a foster home.

Ballu is ready for a foster to adopt placement. Our gorgeous boy is ready to start taking applications! Ballu has extensive guarding issues so it is very important that his potential home has experience of these issues, and also bull breeds/mastiff types as his behaviour is quite typical of a mastiff in some respects. Ballu can be quite immature in some ways and thinks he can bully his way out of a situation where he doesn’t want to listen. This includes mouthing and getting over stimulated so Ballu is looking for a home with adults only, no resident children or visiting children, no other pets and a large secure garden for plenty of training and exercise. On a positive note, Ballu is a lovely boy. He warms to people relatively quickly and he susses people out quickly too. He’s energetic, loves to play and bombs about the paddock in his element. Hes intelligent, and enjoys training and food rewards! We will be exceptionally thorough in our search for a home for Ballu. Applicants will need to prove their experience of guarding issues and be able to follow strict instructions and guidance, for a long period of time post-adoption. Our team will be on hand for the duration of Ballu’s foster period and as life time back up for him too. Ballu has been neutered; albeit quite young, which we believe could have exacerbated his issues, but we are hoping with boundaries and set expectations he will be a role model in months to come. Applications should be completed on our webpage and one of the team will be in touch to discuss should your application meet Ballu’s needs in principle. Ballu is currently in our kennels in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. Successful applicants will be expected to make several visits to Ballu and meet with our kennel staff and team member to assess suitability.

Look into my beautiful soulful eyes….I am Ballu … and the Team Poundie ladies tell me I have had NO applications!? How can this be? I am intelligent, I will do anything for treats and I am an affectionate boy. I need help to learn that not everything that drops on the floor is mine, but I will learn quickly especially if there is something yummier on offer! Please, just give me a chance. Come and meet me at the kennels and you will fall in love with me! I’ll even do my favourite Kanga-Ballu trick for you!
