Pictures of Team Poundie Adopted Dogs.
HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE! Penny & Princess were adopted this weekend and here they are sunning themselves in their new home. Their new mum is totally thrilled and so are we! We would like to say a very special thanks to Lesley Mckeand our wonderful fosterer who has had a real rollercoaster with these girls since they joined us on Christmas Eve as an emergency intake. Lesley has nursed both girls through extensive dentals and Princess through water infections and also major surgery after having kidney stones removed. These girls are 10 years old so it’s testament to Lesleys love and dedication that they have such a bright future ahead! Thank you to our supporters for the financial help we have had with the girls too, its been an expensive few months here at Team Poundie and we are so grateful for the support we receive to help as many dogs as we do. Much LoveTeam Poundie

Pupdate – Evie
We would like to thank everyone for their interest and applications for the lovely Evie and we would like to congratulate her new family on her adoption. As you can see Evie is loving being centre of attention and is being spoilt by her new family. She has settled in very well and is loved very much. We would like to pass on a special thanks to our lovely foster mum Tanya who took care of Evie when she joined us earlier this year after her mum sadly passed away. Our fosterers are invaluable and they do a wonderful job of keeping our dogs calm and happy at a stressful time. Thanks also to our supporters who help us to fund all of the dogs that come into our care. We will keep everyone’s application on file who applied for Evie and we will be in touch if any of our dogs match your application. Much LoveTeam Poundie

He also has no shame! We would like to pass on a special thanks to our lovely foster mum Tanya who took care of Ralfie when he joined us earlier this year after his mum sadly passed away. Our fosterers are invaluable and they do a wonderful job of keeping our dogs calm and happy at a stressful time. Thanks also to our supporters who help us to fund all of the dogs that come into our care. We will keep everyone’s application on file who applied for Alfie and we will be in touch if any of our dogs match your application. Much LoveTeam Poundie

Bluella now happy in her forever home <3
Hi Everyone! Bluela here! The Team Poundie ladies are all off having a quick break before the evening shift and I’ve sneaked onto mums’pooter to say a quick hello! I’ve been with my forever humans for just over a week now, and its so amazing here! I get to snooze ALL day if I want to whilst mum works, and they let me on the sofa! I’ve never been as happy as I am right now. They took me to the vets the other day as I had a lumpy bump on my toes, but the lovely vet gave me some medicine and when I woke up it had gone! Mum think shes being clever hiding my tablets in a yummy meaty chunk, I’m on to her, but the yummy taste is worth it because I get extra goodies for being brave! I love the garden, and I love our walks together. I’ve never smelled so many interesting and snoffly things! My tooter snoots are on overdrive! It’s wonderful. I’d like to say thank you to everyone who has helped me along on my special journey and donated money towards all of my treatment. I have been poorly but since coming to Team Poundie and getting all the treatment I need I feel so much better! Take care everyone Love Blu

Minnie now Winnie in her new home.
Beautiful Winnie has been in her forever home for nearly 4 weeks now. Doesn’t she look so happy and content? She loves snoozing the day away and listening her mum playing the piano. From a rabbit hutch on a travellers camp to a wonderful retirement home with all the love she need This is what your donations help us to achieve so THANK YOU to everyone who support the dogs we help. Team Poundie

Pluto in his home.
***PLUTO***Our beautiful Poundie Boy Pluto left for his home today, we are all in tears reading the days events. To hear the words “He loves his bed, the house and me – so I must be doing something right” just melted our hearts. We cannot thank our friend Sue enough for helping us link Pluto to his special dad and we sincerely hope the coming weeks will bring that bond we all dream of, that life that we want for them all.Thank you to everyone who has been a part of Pluto’s journey, but thank you most of all to his new Dad – the man whom Pluto now depends on.Pluto be a good boy and remember we love you xx

Tiger in his home.
**Gorgeous Tiger is now ready for a home** Now Adopted x
Tiger is a 9 year old Staffie X, he lived with an elderly owner and had not been out of the house for several years. When he arrived, he wasn’t bothered about anything – not even a fuss but things have changed now.Tiger is a lovely friendly boy, very affectionate once he gets to know you! Not reactive towards dogs but probably wouldn’t live with a dog, he is scared of goats. Not bothered by masks anymore, as was advised before he arrived. As you can see he is beautiful! He has been castrated, wormed and vaccinated, so nothing left to do apart from give him lots of love.As always we are happy to take applications directly, or if you are a rescue and have a home waiting for a boy like Tiger please get in touch.Tiger can be transported anywhere in the UK, currently in Derby.

Today has been an eventful day!! Our gorgeous oldie Tia, who joined us as an abandoned stray in December, had a trip to the seaside today, to spend the rest of her days with her new mummy! She is settling in with Jackie really well (sadly she doesn’t have a mobile) so we will get photo updates from family very soon!In other news our amazing transporter Nick Damsell delivered a car full of donations to our lifers today on the way to Tia’s forever home. A huge thank you to Janine for the donations which help to support Angel, Bandit and Gus. I’ve added some lovely photos of our long term dogs, including Angel with her dad Brian. The dogs really enjoyed the most recent flurry of snow, hopefully I can attach the video of them playing below. Thank you as always to our supporters! Without you all we can’t do what we do! Much LoveTeam Poundie

Bobby x
escaped Rehab after behaving really well in kennels and at the vets. He had a few teething issues when he arrived at his new home, but once given some advice and helped by Jennifer, he has become the loved boy he truly deserves. After being clipped and being a really good boy, he got a new bed as a prezzie and his mommy says she really loves him.We hope that very soon Bobby’s adoption will go through and that this will be his forever home.Another boy you have all helped, thank you so much.Be good Bobby xx
