A sad and shut down boy.

Do you all remember our big boy Bruiser! He came into the pound in a real sorry state having been left outside for all of his 10 years. No comfort, covered in sores, overgrown claws and a very sad face indeed.
Well, we were approached by a lady who was taken by him so much and wanted to adopt him. Of course the first thing we needed was to get rescue back up, and have the lady home checked.
Dog bless Linda from Linbee for offering to back this boy, it meant we really could get things moving. He needed vaccinations as well as neutering and the lovely girls over at Team Keisha helped us raise funds for him, he was even renamed Spirit.

And so off he went to a great home. Now called Dougie and looking very settled, his humans have given us permission to share some recent photos.
We have also added his original pound photos too; you can see just how much difference a little love and comfort makes to a dogs life.
